Asking For A Friend

Set in an alternate present-day Ollie is isolated from her friends, frustrated with herself and hopes in purchasing this robot friend will pull her out of her dark headspace. The robot, Lucy, has been programmed to be the perfect friend; she epitomises the ideal young woman in every way. She is outgoing, beautiful, bubbly but ultimately lacks depth and the skills to cope with someone in Ollie's position.
